Lily is a Great Dane that has been blind since a bizarre medical condition required that she have both eyes removed. For the last 5 years, Maddison, another Great Dane, has been her sight. The two are, of course, inseparable.
OMG :’)
There’s still hope for us. If dogs can be as loving and loyal as this tandem, it should not be as hard for people, riggght?

When you were here before
Couldn’t look you in the eye
You’re just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You’re so fucking special
She’s running out the door
She’s running out
She runs runs runs
I’m going through something really major major fucked up crisis right now. Akala ko tapos na, ngayon eto nanaman. With vengeance pa. I can’t even write it down in words. I am too confused, ashamed, scared of it. I spent about an hour at the Church crying over this shit. You know it’s really serious when I go to church and bawl like mad. Okay, not really. But you get my point. Just when I thought I was doing so well, something like this had to happen.

Thank God for friends who keep me sane and support me through this whole situation. Sorry if I’m not making sense anymore, sobrang vague na ba? I’ll get back to telling the whole story once I verify its veracity. chos meganon (sheesh, cmc nga ako talaga). Dear universe, drop me a one big fat sign to help me decide. It’s taking all of my energy na. I’m caught up with something I love and hate both at the same time. But if this is how it’s going to be, all I ask is strength and courage. Christmas na pa naman :(
That’s it for now. Mag-eemo muna ako dito sa kwarto. LOLJOKE.
The mantra all of us live by.

I’ve been planning on getting a new book - not the ones from the used book store or from my aunt’s library but something entirely fresh off the shelves of Fully Booked or NBS. Don’t get me wrong, I am an ardent supporter of Booksale (a local second hand bookstore) but there are just times when you just want to splurge on something special. I do this once in awhile, during my birthday, after exams, and those i’m-not-broke-i’m just-a-broken-hearted-girl moments. So instead of a tub of ice cream, I buy books. So, I need some advice on which book to read (as much as I’d love to, I can’t afford to buy gazillion books all at once).
Should it be Haruki Murikami’s 1Q84 or Jeffrey Eugenides’ The Marriage Plot? Both covers look awesome by the way.
I have always had this love and hate relationship with Murukami. Some of his books like Norweigan Wood, I just simply abhorred but there’s also After Dark which is one of my all time favorite read. I’d want to explore more of his works and this newly released English translation of 1Q84 seems really interesting. Then there’s The Marriage Plot by Eugenides. I loved loved his Virgin Suicides (both book and movie, OMG Josh Hartnett!) and also Middlesex. The Marriage Plot’s plot (LOL sorry) is close to heart - college, love triangles, and books!

May I just say that I love Sarah Waters and anything that comes from her work…Her writing is superb and she needs to be worshiped.
I’m currently rereading Sarah Water’s Fingersmith and I think this book mirrors everything going through my life right now. Identity crises drama again. But seriously, the book is amazing. It’s so tastefully done and the plot is so freakin genius. I was reading Atwood’s Year of the Flood but couldn’t quite get into the story. It was too new age for my life which explains why I’m so absorbed in this book. It’s an updated Victorian novel, complete with the gothic manor, the creepy uncle and the swindler gentleman. Anyway, I’m rambling now but take my word for it and just get the frigging book already.
P.S.
To the English Majors at UP Diliman, sino kamukha ni Sarah Waters? LOL.
